Richer detail for capital call notices
If you’re using Carta’s (non-escrow) capital call feature, you now have several new options to enhance the notices you send to investors.
When setting call amounts, you now have the ability to reflect late interest payments, prepaid contributions and outstanding balances for one or more investors on capital call notices. You also have the ability to turn off a notice, which will prevent the notice from sending to the selected investor.
Adding any of these new options for investors will update amounts on the final review page accordingly. Late interest and outstanding balance amounts will increase an investor’s total amount due and adding a prepaid contribution will decrease their total amount due.
Notices with late interest added will include a late interest row and add to the total amount due.
Notices with outstanding balances added will include an outstanding balance row and add to the total amount due.
Notices with prepaid contributions added will include a prepaid contribution row and offset against the total amount due.
We hope these new options make it easier to run capital calls with your investors. We’d love to hear your thoughts, so don’t hesitate to reach out at investorservices@carta.com with any questions or comments.
